One song only, for now

Beyond technology - wonder of Japan

For your interest, I pasted here an article about how far Japanese technology develops in entertainment industry in this country. Amazing to know.

TOKYO: Japanese confectionery company Ezaki Glico confirmed on Sunday that Aimi Eguchi, one of the latest additions to Japanese female idol group AKB 48, is actually a 'virtual idol', reported Japanese media. Eguchi has received a lot of publicity because of her flawless looks and her uncanny resemblance to other AKB 48 members.

Now, the truth is out.

Glico recently launched a television commercial featuring Eguchi and a few other AKB 48 members to promote their new candy. They also posted a video Sunday, on a website to promote the candy, showing how the commercial was made.

This step-by-step video revealed that Eguchi is really a computer-generated composite of the best features of AKB 48 members Atsuko Maeda (eyes), Tomomi Itano(nose), Mariko Shinoda (mouth), Yuko Oshima (hair/ body), Minami Takahashi (outline) and Mayu Watanabe (eyebrows).

AKB 48 member Yukari Sasaki provided the voice of the 'virtual idol'. The video shocked fans of Eguchi, who were convinced that her features were more the result of good genes than the skilful use of computer graphics.

Indeed, it would have been hard to tell - AKB 48's management had gone to great lengths to maintain the illusion, even creating a fake profile page for Eguchi that claimed she was a 16-year-old girl from Saitama.

In addition, Eguchi had also been featured in a magazine, complete with faked photos and biodata. Although Eguchi is not a real person, some observers say she possesses the purest essence of what an idol is – a completely artificial persona created by putting together the traits that fans love the most.

Love you Mom and Dad

We just came back from a long journey to Vinh. I prepared some food that my Father definitely likes for this lunch: steamed baby chicken with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes and boiled broccoli. (Well I found out I love this dish and since I generally have the same taste on food like my Dad, I guess he loves it too, and yes he did enjoy) . Then I made dessert of cool mango with expectation to make parents feel better. Now Mom and Dad was sleeping. They might still be tired. Going online to check internet, I found by chance this clip from a father to his little daughter. This is touching my heart. People have such different ways to show how much love they devote to others. When watching it, I think of my parents - my great beloved and of my own family which I will have in future one day. My parents couldn't make video clip of me when I was small, but they took pictures of me instead, which also gave me opportunity to realize how lucky I am right since I was born in this world. Mom and Dad, I'm so happy to have your love and care everyday. This recent month came to we family a tough time. I bless us all stay strong, live healthy and happily in everything we've been going through. You know, I feel proud to be your daughter. I love you so much and will be good as your wishes.

A lovely concert

One of VNSO shows in concert season of this year. These pictures were taken from our seats in Hanoi Opera House - once the campus of the University of Indochina. The cozy atmosphere of great music immersed us in beautiful moments of relax. Thank you M&T for your invitation. We enjoyed the night a lot. A peaceful, incredible concert before my trip.
